In less than two weeks the psychedelic pop group of Montreal will release its 11th album, titled Paralytic Stalks. Before the group drops the album on February 7th through Polyvinyl, you can listen to an exclusive album stream at SPIN.com.
The album was recorded in front man Kevin Barnes’s home studio in Athens, Georgia and was mainly produced by Barnes himself. Several session musicians were hired to help the band create the precise sound they wanted.
In promotion of Paralytic Stalks, the band has planned a nationwide tour that will begin mid February and end in April. Of Montreal will be accompanied by Kishi Bashi, Cults, Deerhoof, Loney Dear, and Hard Nips and Computer Magic. Check out the track list and tour dates below.
