This Saturday, April 19, Get Off The Couch will kick off at 9 p.m. at Martyrs’. Chicago’s premier and longest-running singer/songwriter showcase invites New York City-based Jeff Taylor to join Chicago mainstays, Kyle Andrews, Jonny Drake, and Ace Reporter. Taylor spent the tail end of 2013 writing and recording his first solo EP, Organelle. Producer Thomas Bartlett is featured on piano throughout, along with a cadre of local musicians who are also Taylor’s dear friends. The release is a limited pressing of 45RPM 10″ vinyl, and will be available through the standard digital outlets and can be previewed below.
