As the weather continues to get warmer, the festival season gets closer and closer. This past weekend, Coachella set the benchmark by literally raising the dead a weekend AFTER Easter. And while we still have to wait for the dregs of summer to be stuck in traffic on the way to Bonnaroo, or crammed into public transit on your way to Grant Park for Lollapalooza, there are plenty of festivals to wet your whistles between now and then.
If you’re not on the Best West Coast this coming weekend to see if they bring back Biggie, or even get a hologram Rites of Spring reunion, you can always substitute living and active Pop ‘stache favorites such as Chancellor Warhol, as he will be part of a dope line-up at this year’s Rites of Spring Festival in Nashville, Tenn.
The annual 2 day festival (Friday and Saturday, April 20 and 21) that takes place in the beautiful setting of Vanderbilt University, will feature sets from Warhol as well as MUTEMATH, Sleigh Bells, Fitz and the Tantrums, Reptar, Caitlin Rose, Wiz Khalifa and more. Pop ‘stache will be there, so come join us. After all, it is festival season.
