Silversun Pickups participated in Black Friday festivities by releasing a new 10’’ vinyl titled “Seasick.”
The featured previously unreleased songs and B-sides from Swoon including “Broken Bottles” and “Ribbons & Detours.” You can stream it below.
The Record Store Day’s “Back to Black Friday” vinyl hit the shelves on November 25 but a digital version will be available on December 13, 2011. “Seasick” will be coming to iTunes, Rdio, and every other digital service
provider.
The group’s tune “Panic Switch” off Swoon charted at number one on the Alternative Songs Billboard charts in May 2009. The band has been laying low for a bit spending the time between albums touring relentlessly. Silversun Pickups’ follow up to Swoon will be released in the Spring of 2012.
