The Other F Word, a movie documenting the lives of punk rock icons in their roles as fathers, began screening in New York and Los Angeles this week.

From Red Hot Chili Peppers bassist Flea performing with band mates wearing only a tube sock to Lars Frederiksen of Rancid tattooing his forehead, F Word explores something these guys probably never thought they’d have to experience – growing up.
The documentary features dads ranging from pro-skater Tony Hawk to Fat Mike of NoFx, Joe Escalante of The Vandals and Brett Gurewitz of Bad Religion and others talking about their experiences as fathers.
The next screening of The Other F Word is Friday, Nov. 4 in Los Angeles. After that, the film begins limited screenings across the country in a variety of cities. Check out www.theotherfwordmovie.com for details.
