Mastodon has announced it will co-headline the Heritage Hunter Tour with Opeth.
Mastodon and Opeth will be joined by Swedish heavy metal band Ghost on the tour. In support of their critically acclaimed album The Hunter, Mastodon will kick off this tour on April 4th. The group will begin their journey in Portland and hit up over thirty cities in Canada and the U.S. Mastodon and Opeth will trade closing duties on different dates. Another buddy of Mastodon, artist Tim Biskup, created a new video for the second single off of The Hunter, “Dry Bone Valley.” The first single, “Curl of the Burl,” has been nominated for the 2012 Grammy’s “Best Hard Rock/Metal Performance.”
