The Big Pink Looking Forward With Future This

written by: on November 17, 2011

The Big Pink is almost ready to release its sophomore album, Future This.

Renowned indie-rock label 4AD will drop Future This on January 17, 2012. Producer Paul Epworth worked with The Big Pink throughout the past summer. Epworth has previously worked with Adele, Florence and The Machine and Friendly Fires.

Big Pink’s main members,  Robbie Furze and Milo Cordell, recently released the album’s first single “Stay Gold” and quickly followed up with  “Hit The Ground (Superman).” You can view videos for both songs below.

You can download “Hit The Ground (Superman)” through the widget below.

The Big Pink’s band name might have been inspired by The Band, but their sophomore album title was inspired from a skateboarding company’s slogan from the 80s.

Their first album, “A Brief History of Love” was released in September 2009.

Although the Big Pink has yet to announce U.S. tour dates, the Londoners will be playing shows all over the U.K. All dates below.
