Moby’s latest album, Destroyed, is getting a deluxe reissue on November 15, 2011. The three disc set is a feast of unreleased tracks, live footage, photos and videos. This includes a video for the latest single “After.”
Disc one is composed of the original fifteen tracks of Destroyer. Disc two is eight brand new songs as well as alternative and remixed versions of the original Destroyed tunes. The last disc is full of all the music videos from the original album. It has Moby’s self-made music videos for “Be The One,” “Sevastopol,” and “Victoria Lucas.” Disc three also has the 10 finalist videos from the Saatchi and Saatchi video competition. Last but not least, the final disc has two Wilcox Sessions videos. Moby bleeds creative musical interests with visual endeavors with a booklet of his photography spanning twenty-four pages that will accompany the three disc set.
The album set Destroyed is embedded with Moby’s two new singles “After” and “The Right Thing.” “After” will be released on November 21, while “The Right Thing” featuring Inyang Bassey will be set free on December 13. Each single will be separately released in a “digital bundle” with plenty of remixed versions. Artists like Iamamiwhoami, Bassline Smith, Drumsound and Ferry Corsten have all contributed remixes of “After.” While Sharam Jey and more have had their hand in sculpting remixed versions of “The Right Thing.” The music videos for “After” and “The Right Thing” are works from new directors who competed in the Saatchi & Saatchi and Vimeo competition. The winning director, Albert Gomez from Mexico, and one of the top finalists, Antonin Pevny from Australia, provide selected videos for “After.”
Moby will be wandering the states for several Fall/Winter DJ sets.
