R.I.P. Nate Dogg

written by: on March 16, 2011

Last night leading into this morning, it was reported that Nate Dogg (AKA Nathaniel D. Hale) died yesterday at the age of 41. Nate was the deep, smooth voice carrying the hooks of so many G Funk era hip hop jams. He also released several solo records, like 2001’s Music and Me. If it weren’t for Nate Dogg, songs like Warren G’s “Regulate” and Ludacris’s “Area Codes” would arguably have not been hits to the caliber they were. Although the cause of death is not confirmed, he had suffered two strokes in 2007 and 2008.

Below, you can watch some videos of some of the biggest hits Nate Dogg was a part of. R.I.P. Nate, you will be missed.
