Minor Characters Headlines Benefit Show for Chicago HOPES

written by: on April 5, 2012

Chicago rockers Minor Characters have joined forces with Chicago HOPES to present Bright Lights for Bright Kids IV, on April 14, 2012, at Beat Kitchen.

Since 2006 Chicago HOPES has provided educational support for students living in Chicago shelters. Bright Lights for Bright Kids is Chicago HOPES’ flagship benefit concert featuring music and art, and this year HOPES is excited to present local acts Minor Characters, Debello and Dead Sheriff.

“We are trying to show people that there are awesome ways of reaching out in our community and making a difference,” said Shelby Pollard, guitarist of Minor Characters.

Bright Lights for Bright Kids will support Chicago HOPES’ after school programs.

Minor Characters has been previously featured on Pop ‘stache as an up-and-coming band, whose self-titled EP was released in November of 2011. Watch their latest video, “Come Break My Heart,” and check out Debello and Dead Sheriff:
