If you’re at all involved in the punk scene then chances are you know that the genre’s equivalent of SXSW takes place in Gainesville, Fla. every year over Halloween. After a successful FEST 9, the organizers have announced the 10th anniversary of the festival with one ridiculously stacked lineup. Hot Water Music anyone? A few other highlights from the list: Against Me!, Less Than Jake, Bouncing Souls, Grown Ups, The Measure (sa) [final show], and Paint It Black.
Over 250 bands in total will invade Gainesville, Fla. October 28-30 between 11 venues. Organizers are hoping to get tickets on sale by April 1, 2011 along with the launch of a full-featured website: thefestfl.com
