Music festivals from Canada, the midwest and to the Eastern shores are releasing their lineups and getting everyone excited for summer 2012.
The Spring Awakening Music Festival will be kicking off on June 16th and 17th in Chicago’s own Soldier Field. The lineup includes Afrojack, Skrillex, Moby, A-Trak, Benny Benassi, Carl Cox and many more. Tickets can be bought online at $120 for general admission and $200 VIP. For more details head over here.
On July 12-14th Camp Bisco will be taking place in sunny Mariaville, New York. The three day music and arts festival will feature the founders, The Disco Biscuits, as well as Amon Tobin, Bassnectar, Skrillex, Crystal Castles, Big Boi and over 100 other performers. A few days later Catalpa NYC will be at Randall’s Island on July 28th through the 29th. Randall’s Island is just to the east of Manhattan and can be accessed by ferry, car or bike. The festival will have The Black Keys, Snoop Dogg, TV on the Radio, and Felix Da Housecat. The final lineup will be released soon. You can purchase a weekend pass for $100 or a VIP for $240. The three day Osheaga festival will happen in Montreal on Saint-Helene Island, August 3rd-5th. Snoop Dogg,The Black Keys, Justice, Sigur Ros, MGMT, Florence and the Machine, The Shins and Bloc Party can all be found on the extensive lineup. Tickets will go on sale March 23rd.
