The week after the Superbowl brought some great artists to the late-night music scene, including a unique version of “Smooth Criminal” and some tearful “Goodbyes.”

The Kills Play Letterman 

The Kills put on an emotional performance of “The Last Goodbye” on David Letterman, promoting its latest album Blood Pressures, which dropped last April.

2CELLOS on Leno 

Two Croatian cellists, under the clever title of 2CELLOS, gave their rendition of MJ’s “Smooth Criminal” last Tuesday on the Tonight Show. Be sure to check out more of the duo’s unusual covers on their self-titled debut album that released last summer.

Of Montreal Rock Fallon

Indie pop group Of Montreal dropped by Jimmy Fallon to play its single “Dour Percentage,” the third track off its eleventh studio album, Paralytic Stalks, which released just last Tuesday.
