Surfer Blood Performs “Miranda” on Fallon

Surfer Blood stopped by Jimmy Fallon’s studio last Monday to play the third track off its major label debut EP Tarot Classics. After the show, the band tweeted, “The scariest part of playing Fallon was playing 8 feet from The Roots.”

 Snow Patrol Plays “New York” in New York 

On Monday, two-fifths of the Grammy-nominated Snow Patrol played “New York” on the Late Show with David Letterman. The bittersweet piano ballad comes off the band’s sixth studio album Fallen Empires, which dropped on Jan. 10th.

Common Celebrates with The Roots on Jimmy Fallon

The beautiful, bald, bearded, Chicago-bred rapper Common sang his feel-good jam “Celebrate” with a beat provided by The Roots.  The track, which samples Kenny Loggins’ “Celebrate Me Home,” comes off Common’s latest album The Dreamer/The Believer.

Jack’s Mannequin Jams on Jay Leno

Jack’s Mannequin dropped by the Tonight Show, performing “Release Me,” a track from the band’s newest album People and Things.  As Jack’s Mannequin continues its US tour through the Midwest, be sure to check out the band at the House of Blues here in Chicago on the 24th and 25th.
