John Sturdy, a Chicago-based photographer, spent the last five years (2007-2012) photographing bands in the city for the likes of Chicago Reader and other publications. Tonight he’s got an exhibition of his work at the Empty Bottle between 6-9pm that will feature a special performance from Calibrated Crematorium (members of Mannequin Men, Bare Mutants, Landfill Spectre, Thee Hardy Mums and Vacations).
