Sharon Van Etten – ‘Serpents’

On her forthcoming release, Tramp, Sharon Van Etten decided to record with some of indie rock’s best, including The National’s Aaron and Bryce Dessner, Beirut’s Zach Condon, Julianna Barwick, Wye Oak’s Jenn Wasner, the Walkmen’s Matt Barrick and Doveman’s Thomas Bartlett. “Serpents,” the first song shared from the record, features both Dessners, Wasner, Barrick and Bartlett. If you like what you hear, the entire album will be out Feb. 7.
