The song “Mediator” comes from part one of Prussia’s three-part album, Poor English. You’ll notice the group’s ability to seamlessly pull from multiple genres. In this song, the fifties swing-rock and calypso influences especially stand out. The group is also known for taking serious, sometimes dark, subjects and hiding them beneath their lush pop melodies. This tune expresses frustrations of being in the middle of two friends who are constantly fighting with each other.
