Port Isla – “Sinking Ship”

It’s true. Norwich-based folk band Port Isla‘s new track “Sinking Ship” starts out sounding a little bit like KT Tunstall’s “Black Horse & The Cherry Tree,” but don’t let it sway you to press stop. About 35 seconds into it, the band bursts in with an all-out folksy sing-along. Take away the dramatic piano and Fleet Foxes would be a very easy comparison. Are harmonies and hand claps your thing? You’ll probably want to check these guys out.
