Leaf Bird – “True Lies”

on May 1, 2012

True Lies

Chicago indie-rock group Leaf Bird doesn’t mess with genre. After submerging itself in folk rock on its self-titled debut EP, the group decided to change directions and experiment with grunge on its new track “True Lies.” The song’s slightly disorienting reverb wraps your mind around an organized mess of sludge-filled guitars and chill angsty vocals. You should definitely keep an eye out for the group’s new release, Diamonds From The Cherry Mine, Vol. 1, which will be available sometime this summer.
