FAWN – “Pixels”
on July 2, 2012
“Pixels,” the lead track off FAWN‘s debut album Coastlines, is about the metaphorical pixelation of a relationship. “Things spread apart and tear into such small pieces that they are no longer recognizable as a whole,” says the group’s label, Quite Scientific Records. Despite the somewhat depressing theme, the track is fairly upbeat and poppy — utilizing shimmering guitars, a rolling drum line and coinciding male/female vocals.
Coastlines was released on June 12th. If you’re digging “Pixels,” make sure to check it out.
