Bowerbirds – “Tuck The Darkness In”

On March 6th, Bowerbirds will release their third full-length LP, The Clearing. According to the band, “with more time and better resources to make it, this is a bigger record, with bolder sounds, a broader scope and more complicated songs.” The band was even given the opportunity to record some of the album’s songs in Bon Iver’s Wisconsin studio. “Tuck The Darkness In” is the album’s first single. Bowerbirds take the last two minutes of the song to show off where it can and probably will take this album, building into a rush of electric guitar, drums, vibraphones and strings.
