It’s weird to think Timez Are Weird These Days is technically Theophilus London’s debut LP. But, there you have it. And he’s making the rounds of late night talk shows now, stopping by Kimmel last night to perform “I Stand Alone,” the closing track on the new record. He’s got a glittery red tank top and a “G G $” (Girls Girls $) hat, so it is fair to classify him in the swag category. But it’s refreshing to see that he is doing this as he does everything: his way. He’s not just another hip hop MC on a talk show, he is showing up and putting on a legitimate performance.
