Seeing the entirety of Age of Adz’s”Impossible Soul” – all 20-plus minutes of it – performed live was one of the single coolest live music moments I can remember seeing. People were dancing in the aisles, hugging strangers, it was awesome in a very true sense of the word. So, naturally, seeing just the final three-minute movement “Pleasure Principle” does not stack up to that. It does, though, stand up quite nicely as a singular entity when Sufjan and crew performed it live on Soundcheck.
