fun. are a good time band. Their first album Aim and Ignite proved that they are committed to and capable of writing to the point, catchy, and…well…fun songs. They have a new album coming out and today they premiered a new song called “We Are Young,” which features Janelle Monáe.
I don’t know, because I didn’t Google it, but this may be the first time that a Grammy caliber artist has appeared on a Fueled By Ramen song. Either way, Ms. Monáe’s presence on the song is subtle, but extremely effective, adding an extra layer to the poppy hit. It’s an anthem about tearing up the nightlife and celebrating the youth that we all have (at any age). It’s up for sale on iTunes right now, and you can watch the video (which is less fun, and more creepy) below.
