Fucked Up’s epic David Comes to Life is quickly becoming one of the most hotly anticipated records of this year. And for good reason. Remember when you first heard The Chemistry of Common Life? These guys are proving that you can still make intelligent, emotional heavy music without being cheesy and have a huge appeal to people across genres.
There have been a few singles from the record released, and today Matador offered an exclusive look to a select few of a new single, “Ship of Fools.” Lucky for us, Consequence of Sound got their hands on one of these limited copies and decided to post it streaming. Because they are awesome. The track wastes no time getting you into a straight up rock landslide. There is feedback, chugging guitars, pick slides down the strings and, sure enough, Damien “Pink Eyes” Abraham spitting hellfire.
