So far the new Fleet Foxes record is sounding like it can’t lose. We heard “Helplessness Blues,” the title track from the upcoming release, and know the band has dropped this new track “Battery Kinzie.” The track comes to us courtesy of BBC DJ Zane Lowe, who played the song on air, then Robin Pecknold of Fleet Foxes posted a link to the track. It is the type of sweeping bluegrass folk music that the band has mastered, and have maybe perfected on Helplessness Blues. Listen below.

Helplessness Blues is out May 3 on Sub Pop Records, and the band will be appearing on the star-studded lineup of Pitchfork Music Festival this summer in Chicago’s Union Park.
