Pop ‘stache Presents: Royale – “Robots”

written by: on January 2, 2012

It’s not every day that we stumble onto talent that is yet to be tainted by the criticism of the internet masses. Royale is one of those bands and we’re proud to introduce them to you via the very first Pop ‘stache Presents live session. Lead singer/guitarist Joel Bauman steals from the book of Homme while drummer (and brother) Nate Bauman and bassist Marc Najjar hold everything together. Do yourself a favor and keep an ear out for Royale in 2012, you won’t be sorry.

(video synced to a studio track)

Nice!  My only criticism to this would be to…well…have it be live.  What’s the point of filming ‘em play live if you’re gonna just use a synced studio track?  Looks pretty, though PS.

The live audio ended up unusable in this one but live is definitely the intention. Thanks for checking it out.

I figured.  That sucks!  Filming live stuff can be so frustrating sometimes.  Keep at ‘er.  Slick Rick 2012!
