Howler Sessions is a collaboration between Lenny Gilmore (camera), Bobby Lord (audio), and Adam Biedermann (editing) aided by a number of other talented young professionals. Each episode is made with the tools, talent, money, and space available at the time of production. Bands perform one original song and a cover with alternating set designs thanks to Jennifer Herrig. Howlers aren’t about perfection but rather a unique harmony between the ear and eye.
The first episode was recorded at Schubas with the talented Ben Sollee the last time he came through town. The cast and crew were updated for the second session with Gold Motel in a living room turned Chicago cityscape.
