The new Strokes album is tentatively going to be titled Angles and is going to come out March 22. And have you guys been on the internet lately? It is all over this new record!
Apparently the title refers to the input that every member is offering on this record. Or the different “angles” on the songwriting. In a recent Rolling Stone interview, Albert Hammond Jr. talked about the release. Songs on Angles include “Life Is Simple,” “Taken For A Fool,” “Call Me Back,” “Radio Minor Madness,” and “Machu Picchu.” The band is also planning on touring this year after the album’s release.
“We want to come back strong but slowly, so we can grow live and also make new music.” Hammond said. “We want to release albums quicker.” We feel the same way!
