This video for “Go Outside” is all about…well…cults. The Jonestown cult massacre to be specific. It’s got a bunch of vintage footage from news reports of the incident, as well as singer Madeline Follin, who Forrest Gump-ed herself into the clips. Fitting, since I almost referred to this as an “old school” Cults song, just because it was one of their first to be released on last summer’s 7”. It’s something that feels old, but is actually from a 2011 dreamy pop band from New York.
