I’d say one of the key tenets of emo music was always nostalgia. So what better time to begin releasing new emo music than now, when you are nostalgic for the old days of great emo music? Well apparently Braid are longing for the good old days, as they have announced they will studio next month to record a brand new record.
According to A.V. Club Chicago the record will come out sometime in 2011 on Polyvinyl Records. It will be produced by J. Robbin, the man behind the band’s Frame and Canvas. Pretty exciting news for all of us nerds who don’t want to let go of bands we listened to in high school!
