Parquet Courts – “Borrowed Time”

“Borrowed Time” is a fun post-punk head-banger from Brooklyn-via-Texas band Parquet Courts. The group, led by Fergus & Geronimo’s Andrew Savage, brings a whole lot of energy to its fresh (yet nostalgic) D.I.Y. punk sound. The best part of the song is hearing the band jump in full force after its two false endings. It’s cool to feel how much energy can be built up in two seconds of silence.
