No Diavolo – “Holy Night”

Do you remember way back when Chiddy Bang started blowing up on Pretty Much Amazing? If you recall, they had four members and weren’t always just Chidera and Xaphoon. One of the two former members, Zachary Sewall, left Philly for Tallahassee and formed the group No Diavolo. Their self-defined style/genre is “sonic south soul,” which seems to pull influence from blues, soul, psych, and hip-hop. Their song “Holy Night” does an excellent job exemplifying this unique combination of sounds.
