Lightouts – “The Big Picture”

Back in June, Pop’stache introduced the Gowanus-based rock duo Lightouts with a track called “Stray Boy.” It was easy to hear the duo’s main influences Guided By Voices and the Cure and pretty clear these guys like experimenting with various elements of 90s rock. “The Big Picture,” the recently released title track of the duo’s maxi-single, has a sound that falls a little closer to the Smashing Pumpkins’ on the 90’s rock spectrum.
