Gap Dream – “58th St. Fingers”
on April 12, 2012
Earlier this year, one-man psych-pop bedroom artist Gap Dream (Gabe Fulvimar) released its self-titled debut album on Burger Records. The song “58th St. Fingers” is the album’s opening track and first single. The lyrics, “We used to have so much fun. We used to lay around in the sun. I feel like I’m living in the past,” will give you a great feel for the sound and vibe of this track. His memories of sun, surf, love and just having someone to hang out with are now clouded by resentment and a whole lot of fuzz.
Gap Dream, the album, is currently available as a cassette and MP3 download. You’ll be able to pick it up on vinyl sometime this summer.
