Blonds – “Run”

Let’s all agree to call this style of music western noir rock. After releasing it’s debut EP and one of our favorite tracks last year, Blonds moved from Florida to NYC and began working on it’s debut album The Bad Ones, which will release August 7th. The duo’s passion, uniqueness and charm is again spotlighted in the album’s first single “Run.”
Different from previous work, Blonds took a heavier and darker approach to its songwriting and instrumentation with “Run.” Instead of putting all focus on the flowery feeling of love, angst and the need to escape emerge as themes this time around. It’s definitely an exciting and powerful new direction.
