Blonds – ‘Kite’

Blonds, Cari Rae and Jordy Asher, describe themselves as “two little lovers, one big sound.” We’ve all heard their story before. Boy falls in love with girl, and together they start a indie-pop group. It has happened time and time again, yet with Blonds it seems different. The duo is not making music about rememberd love or the more general thought of love. The love sung about and felt in their music is one specific to them and the captured points in time when the song was written and recorded. They have created a sound uniquely their own, warm, lush and sincere.
The song “Kites” will be featured on Blonds’ forthcoming EP, Dark Roots.
