Bare the Traveler – “Weedle”

The jaunty pace and brisk air layered in Bare the Traveler’s encompassing indie/folk musical blitz casts a subtle disguise over their roots in metal and hardcore– but not too subtle. The band still has a distinguishable edge, and their music is all the better for it. Plus, there’s something about a tune reminiscent of a carefree stroll through a North Carolina tobacco field beneath lines like, “I just couldn’t give a single fuck now,” that creates a song of operatic passion and charming uniquity.
