Kidd Russell’s “Pulaski Day” Video Celebrates Chicago

written by: on April 1, 2012

Chicagoans clamoring for a new summer anthem to celebrate their fine city have been given a treat, as Kidd Russell dropped the video for his new song “Pulaski Day.”

Chicago-centric lyrics abound, but the infectious chorus of “I wish I was in Chicago,” is a true earworm. The track also features Cisco Adler, frontman of the band Whitestarr.

If Kidd Russell’s track wasn’t enough, the video highlights many of Chicago’s finer aspects – such as the beaches along Lakeshore Drive, historic Wrigley Field and the always lively Wiener Circle. With the temperature in the city already moving up the thermometer, it’s only a matter of time before it starts bumping out of every car in the city.
